Thermal Transfer has annual sales of approximately $25 million, said Wabtec, based in Wilmerding, Pa. Thermal Transfer, a unit of Harmon Cos. based in Duquesne, Pa., manufactures heat exchangers and related components for a variety of industrial markets including rail, in applications where high temperatures and corrosive elements are present.. Betler said that the acquisition will enable his company to “diversify its product and market applications further.
