    Hi All,

I just completed the pages on my December road trip to Helper, UT. Lots of pictures for everyone. Includes UTAH RY MK5000C's, UP, SP, BNSF and of course D&RGW. Caution! Slow loading. Just go to Utah Rails, click on my Road Trips then December 2000.

    Enjoy,

Wow, another great photo set, Jim. [IMG] Utah Railway, and Grande tunnelmotors with the lights and horn the way the Man Upstairs and EMD intended...whatta beautiful sight! Wish I was out there to catch it all; all I'm seeing out here are those boring wing-thingies. Care to trade places with me? [IMG]

    Paul,

With just a quick check, there are 28 Grande units in CA and 13 in So-Cal.
    2 T-2's
    1 GP40
    3 GP40-2's
    7 SD50's
That is just the black ones. There are also SP paintes ones and a lot of regular SP's [IMG].
I'll admit though, Helper is a good spot most of the time [IMG] [IMG].

Quite true, there is some Grande power around here...in fact, a friend reported that yesterday's Anaheim Hauler power had a pair of SD50's on it. Unfortunately, I was stuck at work; and to add insult to injury, my job is about 10 minutes away from from where they were sitting. Arrrgghhh!
