    A very difficult shot to get, since BNSF trains are not very frequent thru here... I still missed the lead motors crossing themselves by about 20 carlengths...

    Great shot, even without the locomotives on the upper track being in the picture.

    Congratulations, in this way the shot is just as perfect! Or even better as the top engines would only have been silouetted anyway. Just getting two trains there together is lucky.

    You have got that right, Robert!
    60-80 trains per day on wekends on UP makes it an easier proposition, but BNSF only runs about 5 a day.

    Here's another look, from a different perspective: (the shot is not great, since the UP units are so far away, but the leader on the BNSF freight is a filthy SD70MAC anyways...)
