    Nice pics.

I noticed in everyones pics and videos that were out chasing in open areas something that would've got me p.o.'ed beyond belief : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJFhVizTMw8 , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GELRJ1aryw8
I might have been tempted to get something out from behind the seat and take some "shots" of a different kind. I don't care how privileged you are or what kind of project you might be working on, it's no excuse to ruin everyones pics and vids over a 100mi strech. Espesially when this may be a one time only thing that we may never get to see again.
Well, at least THEY got some nice clean footage: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHif2nuICXU

Well, that would be great! At least you could enjoy the videos from Supermax! The feds really don't take kindly to people shooting at aircraft.

:we2-policeman::we2-policeman::tb-tongue::tb-tongue: I did say "tempted", not would've. Really though, they took a bunch of nice video that they don't have sound to unless they're going to doctor it later. Everyone else has nice video with sound, if you like all the buzz...wooooooo!!!-buzzzzzzzzzz-wooooooo!!!buzzzzzzzzzz-woo!!!-buzzz-wooooooo!!!

Maybe next time they can use a US Navy Sea Dragon. They got a nice boomy thud instead of a buzz and since they liked flying only a few hundred feet off the ground, a Sea Dragon could till the soil for the farmers as they go along too.

Actually, I've heard 69. They added in four UP cars (Power, tool for 3985? and two of their own business cars I think) to what I've understood as the circus train started as 65. (Not an uncommon length for the Circus)

What was the chopper doing? I didn't mind it in the videos, just a thing of life. Except for a few where they dropped in front of the train about 4 feet from the top of 3985, (not reckless, but close) THAT woulda wrecked som shots thugh. But it';s like every other railfanning. You aren't the only one. So you take your pictures, videos, whatever, as best you can with as few people as possible while not wrecking someone else's shots, and the rest you angle so you can see the train best. It's 12 feet tall, a mileand a half or so long, you can't miss it for a few heads or a little white whirlybird.

You'd think that for all they spent on the chopper, they'd be able to get a good steady cam and a photographer and pilot who could shoot some better composition.

It's still pretty cool I guess. I love how shooting from the high angle makes it look more like our models! :D :D

Would have loved to have been there.

It's been a while for you. The ES&NA retired the last steam back in 2001 - costs more than they have to overhaul it so both are just sitting there rusting.

Btw, the ES&NA is for sale if anyone is interested.

    Hello Tuna,

Thanks for sharing this, Yes you are right about The ES&NA RR last steam retired in 2001. Yes I also know that The ES&NA RR is for sale and I am trying to buy it, but I going to need a little help.
