    That's an great video and such beautiful automobiles! Thank you. Hard work to load and unload, and they appear to have been shipped without fuel or water. So then they used a simple floor jack under the differential to ease the rear out of the railcar and then used some sort of cable lift to access the cars elevated at each end. I always wondered about this. Mighty cool.

    I did know about the floor jack and muscle technique. But had never seen the rest of it. That it happened to also be NYC, was a bonus and thought folks here might enjoy that as well.

    Fascinating, also it corrected a long held misconception from my youth. I had been lead to believe, maybe just assumed, that cars were loaded nose down in frames. Obviously not, because the cars had oil in the crankcases, only gas and water were added after unloading.
