Unique locomotive spotting features

    I saw these two SD40-3 units today, and there appears to be a difference in the equipment on the roof of these units. Anyone know what this is?

    6922 has a round object on the roof behind the cab body, but 6907 does not.

    looks almost like a GPS antenna, like the type used on ag. equipment. JMHO

    I agree with Beast, it looks like a GPS dome...???...

    none of cn's units have gps on them [and all the gps recievers i have seen on forign units have been a white hat...]..

    that little hump might be part of an aircondition unit... some of them grey WC/GCFX/GTW units have them

    i'm in school for the next 8 weeks so i won't be at work to see that unit coming through the service track to see what it really is...
