Thought it was just my SD70 set was too long or something for my Kato 11 or 12.75 radius curves. After running a while, the first leaves the second. But have the same problem with my new SD40 set and the still newer PA/PB. My 3 yr/ older E8/9AB set works fine, the P42 set fine, the Atlas fine, and other stuff with Rapido is fine. My track is Unitrack. Kato changed couplers since I got my Kato Budds. If it is just me, then their new ones are more sensitive to height shifting of the track. The new doesn't seem to couple as well to MT couplers.
Corn Angel: I replace the Kato trucks on my diesels with MT #2004-1. They are pre-assembled and just slide into position. The loco's won't uncouple after the conversion. Stay cool and run steam......
