    All ,
    With all the Paint Schemes on Diesel Locomotives in N-SCALE or any other SCALE which are copied from 1:1 Aka the prototype     one has seen on a Diesel Locomotive and state That is UGLY as All .... ! I Want one !! As others say Oh Hell No. The photo below of this Locomotive came to my mind as OH HELL NO! Not in My Life.

    For a while, the New Hope & Ivyland's owners decided their name was TO BE NOTICED. Not sure if it was ego at play, or what, but it sure was ugly.

    before I even clicked this thread, I read the title and thought "OOoooh, the old Thai Hitachi 248s". I really like a lot of the new Hitachi passenger tubes, but man - these were hideous, esp with this skin. It just screams bad 70s nylon Montgomery Ward zipper jacket :sick:

    I never cared for this idea.That color clashed with the "Cascade" green theme. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    I'm surprised no one is pointing out that the BNSF has not hardly stopped using that particular ugly combination...

    These look like a cheap paint job got caught in a hailstorm of ugly sticks, followed by a tornado that had just passed over an open gravel pit. Twice!
