Don't know much about Frisco, but know a little about GE units...

In my part of the world, SCL was the only taker on the U18B's (note there was no B18-7).. these were built using Blomberg trade-in trucks...

A lot of roads opted to use trade-in trucks... hence almost anything could show up under GE units. (GE was so eager for business that they would accomodate any requests...) Southern had U23B's with the AAR trucks (to start with)... Chessie had B30-7's with AAR trucks too!

I do have a copy of Frisco Diesel Power (along with every other book I know about on The Frisco since WWII).

I also have a copy of the issue of Diesel Era which discussed the Frisco U25B fleet (September/October 1996).

The article includes the same roster information as Louis Marre included in Frisco Diesel Power rosters, though it does not cite a source.

In Frisco Diesel Power, there is an indication the original source was from the Frisco's own records.

None were built, but they were offered and catalogued.
    Some of SCL's U18Bs had FB-2 trucks.

Interesting........wonder if there's a back issue archive at Withers Publishing? I'd like to have a copy of that write-up.

Do you also have Bain's Frisco Folks? That's a pretty neat compilation of stories on the Frisco in the Ozarks- saw a copy at a public library somewhere.

I'm also still searching for Frisco Southwest, and I hope to find it.

Aside from that, my collection is about as complete as yours.
