Well seeing that I have gotten in the mood again to work on the layout. I have done two little projects. One is painting two MP bay window cabai in ATSF blue and white, which is going to be for the Wisconsin Belt Terminal Railway. The paint is Scalecoat 2. I used Tamiya masking tape for the first time, and all I can say is,,, great product. Nice crisp lines and color seperation areas. Now I know what to use when I start doing my locos from now on. The next little project was to detail, or finish the scene for Brown county Co-op in the town of Appleton on my layout. The Co-op is served by a local, which is a shove operation from Fond Du Lac to Appleton, then just a normal move on the way back. The local could be anywhere from 1-3 cars, seeing as the Co-op takes 1 LO ( covered hopper), and 2 XM's ( box cars). Come to think of it, the Co-op could take the LO and and anything else. Well that is all for me, time to wire up some tortioses. Adios Wyatt
That elevator scene reminds me of a very similar setting, just a one hour drive from my home. Boxcab E50
Thanx guys. Box, I was trying for the typical elevator look of the area. Bob, thanx, I am getting better at painting Jason, I had a buddy of mine do the decoder install on the GP-35, he just hard wired the led and used cv's to get the flash right. The weathering was mainly done with a airbrush and Floquil grimy black, and them some Bragdon weathering powders. Just a quick job, but came out good. Adios Wyatt
