Tutorial for inserting photos in a post?

    I looked through the "How do I?" tutorials for a tutorial I can point people to when they have problems putting photos in their posts so that they can see how it is done, and I found nothing current. Do we have one somewhere, and, if not, can we get one? It's the question I try to field most often but I try to do it all verbally. That doesn't always work for people.

    I saw that one. It's outdated as it is based on the earlier software, and also doesn't show the more common method a lot of people use now which is to paste a photo's URL using that picture frame looking thingy.

    Someone who is already confused is going to be even more confused seeing a tutorial that appears to be for a different site.

    Yeah. I have pictures on my computer ONLY and that will not change. I keep the Internet at arms lenght.

    I find the best way is to use a photo/video storage site (photobucket in my case) and then paste the IMG link to the forum. Saves forum server space as well.

    Yes. Works very well and is quite easy to do.
