Yesterday morning I saw the Amtrak San Joaquin, a southbound UP freight pulling auto stacks, and a UP business car train (four cars and locomotives on each end) all at the Amtrak station at once. The southbound freight was just rolling through on the main track. The UP business cars were on the first passenger track (the one closest to the station) and the Amtrak was in the middle. Once the freight cleared, the business train took off north. The San Joaquin was delayed a few minutes and a northbound Capitol Corridor pulled in where the business cars had been, and then exited before the San Joaquin. Five minutes later a southbound Capital Corridor pulled in. Five trains in about 12 minutes. I model Jack London Square, so now I have to add some UP business cars to my collection. Fortunately, Walthers just put two of them in their "bargain basement" clearance. I'll post some pictures once I sort through the pile.
