    I have a Atlas/Kato GP-35 produced in 1992 which does not run on My DCC system. I would like to reset the CV30 valve to the factory setting. I have not been able to determined who manufactured the decoder via the internet. The only things I can determined about the decoder in question are: It is spit frame decoder that had to be hard wired. The frame was modified to fit the decoder. The markings on the decoder boards are: 607-x001. I have included a photo's of said Locomotive with decoder installed. Can any body help Me?

    If you read CV 8 it should show the Mfg ID # . Somewhere on the web there's a listing of what Mfg#'s belong to which Mfg .

    The boards on top look like the standard DC light boards that came with the loco. On the bottom photo, to the right, it looks as if there is a decoder board under the light board. We would need to see a photo of that, to even hazard a guess.

    What, specifically, are you trying to reset with CV30? While a few decoders reset when you set CV30=2, most reset with CV8=8

    As Mike says, if you read CV8, that will tell you the manufacturer ID

    That is a modified light board with the number, it is not decoder.

    What DCC system do you have?

    If you read CV 8:

    Digitrax=129
    NCE =11
    TCS =153
    ESU =151
    Zimo=145
    Lenz =99

    Hope this helps

    To Everyone Thank You!!! :)
    I was able to determine the manufacturer of the Decoder in Question, Contact the manufacturer for information and reset the factory defaults from all the information taht everybody provided Me. One (1) thing that I have still to do is restore the function of headlights ( turn on) in the decoder.
