Hi to all, Please forgive my ignorance on a lot of issues on Model railroad. I have a lot of cars with Rapido couplers and they are in different brands such Bachman, Atlas and some other companies. I would like to change their coupler to the new style Knuckle one. I have been told it is best to buy the whole trucks. I also would like to change some wheels to metal ones. The problem I have is I don’t know which kind of trucks and wheels to order, for instance wheels come in different sizes so which one am I suppose to get. I would also like to convert the trucks on Bachman 4-8-4 Northern Steam Locomotive and its tender and I wonder if that is possible. This is what started me in this hobby as I got it as an X-mass gift few years ago. Are there any illustrations on how to do the above mentioned stuff?
