I really didn't know that Tru-Scale was still around. I bought turnouts from them back in the early 1970's. They started out making milled wooden roadbed. They had flat roadbed and roadbed with milled in ties. For the ones with ties all you had to do was add rail. The switches I purchased were their hi-speed switches. They were not prototypical. The points and frog wing rails were all one piece. A screw was used as a pivot. When you threw the switch the points went against the stock rail and the wing rail would move against the frog making a smooth gap free connection. The only problem was getting the pivot point exactly in the right spot. For me that was next to impossible. David
