Stopped by my local Hastings and picked up issue # 85 of The Railroad Press. Lo and behold, a very nice article (with color pics) of Frisco diesel power in the early 1970s. From Fs to SD45s in Kansas and Oklahoma, including a brace of F-units in Afton (where my family moved in 1973, and where my Dad is now a permanent resident). Oh yes, er, um, they have some token shots of some obscure railroad that used to have green & black power- hated to mention the Bad News, but hey...........:tb-biggrin::tb-biggrin:
