This would be a great Diorama, since it occurs so many times. http://www.break.com/index/train_vs_grain_truck.html See how the truck is going so slow crossing the track, and after being hit he accelerate. Hopefully no one got hurt.
Well seems that there where no crossing gates there. Did notice that the SUV started to back up, guess he saw what was about to happen. Oh well, still cool to see that stuff happen as long as no person gets hurt.
The accident occured in Stuttgart, Arkansas near the Riceland Mill Complex. This is Union Pacific trackage previously the Cotton Belt RR.
Terrifying to me. Seems there is siding in the background along the elevator there? Looks like multiple road crossings there.
I used to drive semis, and that was nothing more than a really stupid move. Bet the idiot was going home soon!:thumbs_down::thumbs_down::thumbs_down::angry:
THAT cat darn near bought it! He did slow down, then tried to speed up again...so he SAW the train coming. What a dope.... John
It may be that the rig was accelerating already, then when the locomotive relieved it of its load, the now-empty tractor just shot forward, along with its empty-headed driver, aka IDIOT......
That would be my take, he see's/hear's the train, puts his foot down to try and clear it, but it doesn't accelarate quickly with a full load, when that suddenly dissapears it shoots forwards. He's lucky.
Whatever the reason, he's still an A....hole. Hope none of the train crew were injured!!! Apparently now UP, formerly Cottonbelt!
Looked like rent-a-wreck locos.... I'll bet the SUV jockey needed new Fruit-of-the-Looms! I hope nobody was hurt in the engine crew...
Where's the love? Boy oh boy. This is some mean talk coming so soon after BNSFs National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. You know, I think we should have you guys repeat the class, just to make sure you're condition--er, trained properly. :wink2::wink2::wink2::wink2:
