    Thank you for the clarity, I always assumed this was just an ugly PWM signal. As I was playing with my scope is looked like a sawtooth, then as I increased the throttle it took on a more square wave look. My locos like it either way. My MRC throttle if I remember right was just pure DC rising up the screen. I was building a custom throttle at the time I took those readings and I wanted to see how dirty the signal was from my little DIY power supply, and was really surprised when the DIY power supply had a far cleaner signal. Unfortunately the DIY power supply didn’t like being in a box, and after a few minutes the train would stutter and stall, lurch and get all wonky. Oh well… I use those power supplies for other things now and they work fine in the open.
