I have benchwork complete for an Ho scale layout 12x14 24 inches wide with a 3x7 ft. peninsula. The benchwork goes all the way around the room in front of the door(duck under).I am looking for a track plan that will give me good mainline run for 80's to modern era equipment...also a good amount of industrial switching.I am hoping this is a big enough space to give me plenty of room for a godd ho layout.I am new to this hobby, and this is my first layout attempt.I need some advice please.Thank you.

I recommend a mod move this to the layhout planning forum where it will get more responses.
Also, as I said in the other thread. I don't think you'll have problems doing modern mainline with some local switching, but I think both modern mainline and industrial might be a bigger stretch.
