I have a new layout I'm building and have a question about the power buss for my Zephyr DCC system. Is it ok to have your main power buss in a loop and then feed from the Zephyr power unit? I have ran my 14 guage wire around the layout and connected the ends together so now I have two "loops" of wire, one for + and one for -. Now I will feed a wire from each into my Zephyr for power. Is this ok to do or do I need to break those "loops" so they have a definitive start and end?
I have the wires coming out of the command station going to the bus. The bus then ends at the end of the wire. I wouldn't connect the ends. Jeff
Tommithy: Welcome to the forum. You can connect your buss line in a continuous loop. I usually run the wire around the layout and k=leave both ends free. Either method is perfectly acceptable. Stay cool and run steam....
