I have to be real careful here as both of these fine model rails are good friends. I couldn't agree more with George/mtntrainman. And, I believe Doug has a point...as well. There may indeed be a problem with FV wheels running through Atlas Switches. May I suggest it's a simple question of who or what is out of gauge?

The variety of wheelsets, I have wheeling their way around my layout... when properly gauged, will run through any and all of my switches. And, I have a menagerie and collectique grouping of switches and a variety of off and odd brands of train cars and wheelsets. Some, I can't identify as to the original manufacturer and due to size of the wheels as in to wide or won't hold gauge are finding their way into the trash can.

Well, guys and gals...me thinks you've wrapped this one up. That's a wrap!:pcool:

I hate to say it, but part of your problem is the fact that N scale does NOT conform to prototype practice. HO does NOT use the trucks to carry the couplers. That alone eliminates a huge percent of derailments.

The different options are different levels of quality vs file size. Unfortunately, the higher the quality, the higher the file size, and vice versa. The email option will drastically reduce the file size, but in my opinion, the sacrificed quality does not make that option worth it. "Run on this computer" is about the perfect equilibrium and will be the better option for future videos. :)

There have been productions issues with the Atlas Code 55 turnouts on and off for a couple of years. One of them is the width of the gaps by the frog. Sometimes they are too tight and sometimes they are too loose depending on the production run.

I am not saying Peco doesn't have its share of issues with the guage around the frog area, I am just saying that I have had none of the issues described by vadimav on Peco or Atlas code 80 or Peco code 55.
