Howdy, all. First time here for me. Nice community you guys have. I'm going to Nashville, TN in January, and have an entire Saturday to railfan. I know there's a CSX hump yard there. Besides driving around the yard looking for the best view (which I'm certainly not opposed to), are there any good spots around the area for a newbie to check out? Anything within about 50 miles is within consideration. Thanks in advance for any tips y'all can provide. Pop
Pop, welcome to Trainboard! Having said that, I can't help you at all with railfanning down there in the south. There are guys on here who can and will, as soon as they see this message. I have been on the west coast so long I forgot where the tracks are in the east. Be patient, someone will help.
Hi Pop, Welcome to the TrainBoard, glad to have you on board! As to Nashville, I've never been there ... it's way up north where it's cold! There are some CSX and NS fans who live in North Carolina who I'm sure could give you some help.
