    The logs are looking cool to me.
    What sort of wood did you use ?

    The train looks great Paul. Measure the diameter of the logs in mm and divide by 1.9 to see how many scale feet diameter they are. I make mine somewhat smaller, but logs come in all sizes, right ;)

    I have to say that MRL looks a very tempting road to model. Very nice!

    Thanks for the comments the tree is a Eucalyptus tree that is behind my house.

    Alan the MRL is great to model, wait until I finish the log cars and add the 5 boxcars I have also purchased by the way the log cars track perfectly

    I will post pics once the other 5 cars are ready

    Great looking log cars you got there.
    In my opinion (you asked for it), the logs might be just slightly oversized, but as Alan says, logs comes in all sizes, and I think it look really great.

    Here are the completed log cars I have added some smaller timber on some of the cars. They run so superb I'd recommend these to anybody. They are also very easy to assemble even for someone like me lol.
