I decided to finally order some of the cars from the advertisement in Z track magazine. I really feel like this is one area that z needs help in. Anyway, if took about 6-8 weeks as the supplier that Rob gets them from has to cast them. Well this week they finally arrived! They really look great! In fact, I only wish I had gotten more, but eventually I will. They are plastic near as I can tell and really enhance the look of my layout.[IMG] Here is another with a picup truck, it even came with a load of tires! [IMG]

Those are real cool Joe. I keep meaning to order some, and always forget. Your elevator looks real cool too! ;)

Jurg, I know what you mean. At frist I thought these can't be that good, but I saw a picture someone posted a while back, and it looked like one of the Ztrack cars was in it and it looked very nice. So I figured lets get some. I have to say for the price, they really do look great. I haven't even added any weathering or extra paint. They are really cool cars!

They are made in resin. The cars look geat from the side if painted up, but they are a little too narrow. The pick-ups and buses are perfect though.

There are a few different vehicle projects in progress right now, including some transition era vehicles (or earlier back to the 1930's).

Make My Model also has a pick-up truck and car from the 30's or 40's.

I agree with RSmidt---the passenger cars are a little on the narrow side, atlhough they look OK otherwise.
