    All,
Dug out my book with the maps of the proposed line across the state of Washington. The only part of this proposed line to be actually built was the section from Spokane to Davenport, WA.

Please note the panel that shows the other east-west line built through the Sallal Prairie area.

    Find it at my blog:

I can never remember the name of that Pass north of Snoqualmie Pass. Up the Middle Fork. Argh.

Yakima Pass? Naches Pass? Blewett Pass? White Pass? Suak Pass? Blewett Pass? Chinook Pass? Cayuse Pass? Disautel Pass? Loup Loup Pass? Do any of these jog your memory, Ken?

Well, I can't think of it's name. North of the Alpental Ski area. A proposed route which followed east up the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River.

I bet that would have been a really scenic route through the back country like that.

    Ken-

Here is a question that you might know. Was the Snoqualmie depot built by the Northern pacific of the Seattle Lake Shore & Eastern? It would seem to me as it would have been built by the SLS&E as they were eventually absorbed into the NP. But I may be wrong.

    Ryan-

Built by the SLS&E. Without looking, my memory says 1890.
