a squirrel was spotted on the norfolk southern tracks in micungi PA after hanging around me for awile this little guy was taking a chance but this time he was lucky

this was across the station in banff. shot by me in 1999

 

IIRC, many, many years ago Life Magazine had a photo of a moose facing down a steam locomotive. Both were stopped, and neither appeared about to move, but as a kid, I thought it was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen....

 

I remember a photo that showed a deer on top of the train and the crew tring to figure out how to get it off.

I caught a couple of deer trespassing along the rails in Glenwood canyon today.

I wonder if they know enough to get out to the way.

 

i dont think so because Moose charge the train up in Canada once they see the lights it trigers something in there tiny minds to charge at it
