Atlas announced a GP-20, with DCC and sound. Is this the return of the Lifelike line, with small updates?
I can feel the rumbling already! This is fantastic news. I need to go search and see what this is all about, if they are producing it in Burlington with a proper red I am in! If they announce GP 18s and maybe some steamers I might literally pass away.
LOVE my GP20s !!! I'm sure they're kinda' testing the waters here, but I'm in for BN and a pair of AT&SF. I'm sure more roads will follow. And knowing Atlas, maybe...maybe...MAYBE... a High-nose version !!!
Hi Nose GP20's are a must do for Atlas. The Western Pacific and Great Northern had them and would probably sell very well.
Good lordy you're a genius! And moreso if we could get a variety of modular types! Especially if they were dual-track and designed to be rearranged like T-trak etc.... I wonder if there's really a market for affordable modular ready layouts? Woodland scenics has their kits, but... it just ain't the same. And yes, I know those Japan-style modular RTR/kits sell like hotcakes!
