Hello, everyone and welcome to a new contest that will (hopefully) test your knowledge about locomotives.

Here's how it works, each round, or whatever it's called, there will be either picture or written clues (they can be kind of information about the loco) about a type of locomotive or a specific locomotive (ex: UP 844), and the goal is to guess all of the questions correctly. Anyone is welcome to post a new set of questions (just like the Google Earth Engine Shop contest). Just wait until the current one is finished.

So, to start, we will have an easy one.

What kind of locomotive is pictured above?
Who is the owner of the loco?
    Who was the original owner?
What is special about this particular loco (#1300)?

    EMD F7A.

    Quebec Central Railway

Agence Métropolitaine de Transport (AMT); Société de Transport de la Communauté Urbaine de Montréal (STCUM); Canadian Pacific RY?

Something special about it? Not sure. Is this a unit used in filming the movie "Silver Streak?"

Well, you are good on three of the four. The type is close, but not quite right.

Ah, yes. Very good. You are 100% correct.

Now, future versions will be much more difficult I hope....
