"perfection was desired"...reminds me of another forum where a very skillful and detail oriented builder remarked that he only built "perfect and accurate" models and if it needed to be "compromised" by making it operational, then it was a "failure". Of course, this fellow spends a year or so on ONE building. Maybe in about 50 years, he will have that "perfect" layout...but then nothing will run and since he's in his 60's...he will be building perfection off this planet! Woodie
I have a very specific goal in mind. I want a functioning fully detailed layout. I know my limitations based on previous layouts since the 70's. My new empire is 2x3 feet! It's gonna be sweet though.
