My plan for the day was, 1) get up at 7:30 am CST and check out the various sites. make whatever posts, 2) Go down for breakfast, 3) Read the paper, 4) take a nap till 12:noon, 5) Fill my thermos with coffee, 6) Go back upstairs and work on my layout till supper time. Good plan. Worked until I got to #6. When I got upstarts, I decided to first, check my earlier posts. Without conscious awareness... I had entered the, Internet Zone. Moving from forum to forum at the speed of my DSL connection. I was reading post after post, laughing at some, replying to others, writing posts. Wow, I was into it. Then, I'm not sure, but I thought I heard a familiar theme song (Twitlight Zone maybe) floating in the air. Any way, I decided that I needed to get to work if I was to accomplish any layout work today. Well I came up at 12:15 and as I checked the time it was 4:30 pm. My thermos was empty, What happened. Where did my day go? Let me warn you. about , "Internet Zone." and the Cyber Space Express. you could on it for hours, maybe even days? And this ride will ruin your days good intentions of working on your railroad. See Ya
