I thought I’d share my current project with you. My G scale model railroad the DAV&P better know as Dunkirk Allegany Valley and Pittsburgh, a real short line that once ran threw my home down of Dunkirk. Any way my layout is in my basement and is only 6 months old, but I making good progress. Here are some photos of my round house. Its still under construction. I’d like to hear your comments on it. You'll be detailing the roundhouse interior? I always enjoy seeing how people go about doing that project. Boxcab E50
I plan to put a complete, well as complete as I can interior in the round house. Tools, drill press and lathes. Maybe even a wheel turn and a wheel sweeter and lots of parts. Right know I’m getting reedy to pour the cement floor. I’m putting in the forms and other fittings to hold up the main beams. Then I’ll be putting in rebar, basically junk like coathaniger wire and other things to keep the flour from cranking. Any one have any ideas on other stuff / equipment that should be the round house please let me know.
