Just completed a very pleasant round-trip on the Amtrak Carolinian--NYP to Charlotte, NC, and return. The only disappointment was no dining car. We took advantage of Amtrak's two-for-one promotion, plus an upgrade to business class. The price for both my wife and I totaled about half a round-trip air fare for one. I will have a few pictures later.
