I don't plan to use the Mobile app, or own a web capable "smart phone" anytime soon, bnut since I plan to churn out a few TBX decals for personal use, I've been meaning to make another contribution, so here's my 10 bucks!
I finally got my pledge sent in. I'll be traveling aboard the California Zephyr again soon and with the mobile suite installed, I should be able to post ride-along updates more frequently during areas of limited bars. We're now half way to purchasing the mobile package! If you planned on donating, please do so in support of the mobile suite!

Since I recently bought a new Toshiba tablet, with Android OS, I'm willing to send something to help. But, I'll have to wait another week and a half before i can actually send in something.

I just got an iPad, so decided to try this app! First purchased app on my first mobile device. Seems to work well, will take a bit of getting used to, of course. Now the quandary: spend time playing with this, or work on layout?
I use it some but find it cumbersome when trying to move back and forth between pages for copying links and pasting them into the text to post. It is good for quick checks but if I have to do anything major I tend to go to my regular browser.
Ugh, between work and having a baby on the way, I haven't been keeping up on this. I'm going to add Trainboard to Tapatalk right now. AS you know, because I've said it a million times before, I already have Tapatalk for my other boards and selfishly would just as soon use it exclusively for all my vB boards. So thumbs up from me here. Also, just as a warning to all you mods and admins out there, the lock thread feature in Tapatalk is easy to hit by accident, so you might post in a thread and lock it by accident. It's supposed to be fixed in a newer version of vB (maybe even the one we run here) but on the board I admin, we've had trouble getting the upgrade to run, so I always double check that I didn't lock a thread by accident.
Been playing some more, and think I like this. But, I have to agree with Russell, any serious posts, with photos and links etc., will need to be done else wise. At least until I become proficient at this mobile stuff
The only thing I really don't like is that when using the "Latest" feature, you can't tell which sub-forum it's posted to. This has never mattered at other boards I've posted at with tapatalk, because it's either blatantly obvious based on subject matter, or it doesn't really matter at all, but on this forum, it's kind of annoying, because well, lets say someone posts a question on the n scale forum about what rolling stock to buy or what brands are good. Obviously, if they're in the N-scale forum, it's implied they want N-scale and not H0, but I can't tell that. This board is very unique in my experience because of how much information is implied simply by sub forum choice.
Weird, because in the "latest" list, there is a forum heading over each post or group of posts if they are all from the same forum
