Is it the overdue searchlight signals being shipped on flats to my LHS?

Completely agree.

The problem is.. It's going to get worse.

Not really, these cars were around in the 70's-80's,some hung on to the 90's.

 

I can’t get too excited about whatever it is. I’m still waiting for the last “teaser”...

N scale searchlight signals. When they come through, I’ll look into whatever this one is.
