    Ken, I think modern locomotives are an insurance requirement by various host railroads, albeit running DIT. The two B-units should have been fine for any grade along the way.

    2 major grades that I know of: The climb from Buffalo Valley to Silver Point and the grade from Cookeville to Monterey.
