Put in some new 8' chainlink fence around Stevens Concrete today... Still have to make some gates ;-)
That fence looks good George. I suggest you weather it to tone down the metal.. Have fun with it.... Shades
Hi Shades.... Actually...its just the angle the pic was taken at plus the brightness of the flash that makes it look so shiney there in the middle. Under regular viewing with just the layout room lights...it really is more of a dull galvinized chainlink color...
LOL....nope..its a styrofoam ball they put on car antennas. In my usual warped mind...thought it and an inverted golf tee would make a nice water tower/tank for the plant
Wow. A gate/bunker! All you need now are a couple of quad fifties flanking the shack..... I see an eatery. Now you need a couple of bars, too!
Awwwwwwww...geeeeeezzzzzzz....here I thought I was doing something "Semi-Prototypical" anyways... Guess I will just tear it all out tomorrow....*sigh* :crying:
"Lilli's Bar" is actually down the street from the yard...at the south end of Georgetown. Its kinda hidden behind an abondoned office building. Between the bar and the "Lay-Over' hotel...one can easily see why Georgetown is pretty well boarded up and has the seedy reputation it does ;-)
Your layout is really progressing along nicely George. The overview of the beginning of Georgetown looks great. Have fun with it. Shades
