So, the flat car will need the tinfoil, with chains dragging on the ballast, and little green guys holding on to it while trying to get in??!! Either that or we accept the waves as a 'vintage 70's look,' to the video.
OK TEST COMPLETE ! Indoors...no interference Outside...no interference In THERR RV (no lights)...no interference In THERR RV Turn RV power converter on...no interference In THERR RV (turn overhead LED light strips on)...INTERFERENCE !! Turn on DCC system...no change same INTERFERENCE lines. My conclusion...Its the overhead LED light strips inside THERR RV... .
One more possibility. DCC system on and LED strip light off. You will probably get no interference but just in case it's also the DCC system. There may be stuff out there that can scrub the LED interference but if it's also your DCC system, I doubt you will want to replace it but rather find a new camera that would work with it. In the early days of LED residential light bulbs, they would interfere with radio reception, WiFi, security cameras, etc.
This little spy camera never picked up interference. I am gonna do a deep dive on ebay. See if I can find a NOS one... Of course this camera was discontinued years ago. Makes one wonder if the rechargeable battery inside is still alive in a NOS one...

Cheap and/or early LED bulbs use less filtering in the power supply to save cost, knowing that the human eye is not fast enough to see the resulting flicker. But cameras can!
For what its worth I get the same interference with mine. I use ballasted florescent fixtures but replaced the 4-foot bulbs with LED drop-ins long ago. If anything I would suspect its the ballasts in the fixtures. Might try holding the camera up near one and see how that looks.

They most likely have internal electronics to reduce 110AC to run the LEDS. BTW...nice video...really nice layout !
No ballast on those. Could still experiment: turn on the camera and move it from the floor to just under a light, then look at the video.

Oh yea...it's worse closer to the light. Andy may be onto something with... The 'wavelength' effect gets more intense the closer to the LED lights I get. I will know more when the NOS camera gets here. I still think it may be the cheapness of the mini camera I just bought. Time will tell.
