    LMAO.....thnxs

I am still debating the 'smaller' push pins....but...if ya look at it in person...those BIG ones really dont look that big. The good part...I can paint the small ones and pull those big ones out...stick the smaller ones in the same holes...and see which I like better :)

    Ok Gary...thnxs alot !! :p

Earler THE Wife came out to THE RV to see what I was doing. I showed her the new Engine Shop. I was explaining that I still need to get a BIG crane to put inside...etc....etc...etc. She was impressed :)

NOW...I told her what you said about the ventilation system sucking the locomotives right off the track ! It's been awhile since she laughed that hard. BUT...she told me (between laughs)..."If the ventilation system will suck the locomotives off the tracks....then I guess you wont need that crane in there then huh?"

I gave her a "Deer in the headlights' look. This only made her laugh even harder. I think she was actually crying from laughing so hard !!!

Then she told me I could buy the crane anyways... Whewwwwwwwwww !!!

I put the smaller push pins in for the roof vents and they look ok too. So now I will just have to change them out when she comes back out to THE RV and see which ones she likes best.

Gotta keep THE CFO happy ya know ;-)

    You are welcome George.

Glad I helped make THE WIFE's day. [IMG]

PS I think both look good, but I like the larger ones best.

I installed push pins as roof vents on a warehouse I built last month.
At first I kept thinking push pins, now I think vents when I look at them.
The wife just saw them and said they look like roof vents, not knowing what they were.
I think were on to some thing.

I'm looking for (2) crossing gates for a project. I dont need the whole signal...just the gates (arms). If anyone has a couple setting in their parts box they are willing to part with...let me know...TIA :)

For your gates - After Halloween I might have some blinking lights. The candy displays have them and the boss says I can have them when the display comes down.

Gary ( maxairedale ) sent me some old crossing gates he had. The worked PERFECTLY for THE Guard Shack at the entrance to Lucky Penny Yard !

I bashed the 2 signal towers Kato makes into (1) Guard Shack and (1) Yard Tower.

Here is THE Guard Shack !!

Here is the new Lucky Penny Yard Tower I made from the other Kato Signal Tower.

The tower didnt sit high enough for my taste...so I used the portion I cut off the top of THE Guard Shack...along with a couple "LEGOS" and raised it up to where I like it !!

    Outstanding!
Um, maybe put a gas station next to the "EAT" place. Then it could read: "EAT Get Gas".
