I just saw a reference to the Texas and Pacific "Swamp Holly" paint scheme. Who or what was Swamp Holly? Thanks.

Thanks. I looked around a little and found that swamp holly is a plant. The paint color is probably a reference to the green vine/yellow flower color.

 

Yeah, the T&P's swamp holly orange / black paint scheme was probably the most famous little-known paint scheme.
