    Hi Everyone,

The SW1001 from CESM is here!

This shell is an accurate representation of the EMD SW1001 in N Scale. It is a direct replacement for the Kato NW2 shell with no modifications necessary. You will need:

    1x Shell
1x Detail Parts Set from here
    Horn of your Choice
    Bell of your choice
    Grab Irons
    .008" Phosphor-Bronze Wire

This kit includes parts to construct versions with drop-steps on their pilots (Conrail, etc.), or without (LIRR, etc.)

50 bucks for a basic undec shell, plus 9 for the detail parts and another 5 for the windows - not to mention the mechanism, paint, decals, horn, bell, etc?
A complete Kato NW2 can be bought for $70.
3D-printing doesn't seem to be a very economical process.

Versus the time to kitbash or scratch build it yourself? $64 is a bargain.
