Barb, Wes Barris has had that site for years, and he just keeps improving it. When I first got on the internet, his site was one of the first I found. I contacted him and he helped me get started on my own. I am pretty sure he is now living in Australia. [IMG]

I was surprised to see listed a couple of locos at Snoqualmie. Thought they'd been de-accessioned. (I was a very active member there at one time.)

Also, I don't see the privately owned Shay of Jim Gertz listed. He lives just outside of Port Angeles. What happened to that loco? I haven't talked to him in many long years.

Boxcab, Jim Gertz' Shay got a lot of local press not too long ago. I think he sold it, but in my advanced age I can't remember to whom. It made the PA papers and some others up that way. Wish I could remember. :(

    Fitz-

Now you have me really curious. I don't recall it being sold. Guess I missed this one. If you come upon more info about Jim's Shay, please let me know.
