Here are a few areas that I have been working on this summer. There is still lots to do but I have not posted much lately.

The first area is the depot and freight house. Both of these are scratch built. I also scratch built a building flat behind the freight house. The other building flat to the left (taller one with the pipes on the outside wall) is just a stand in until I get around to making one more building flat for that spot. The backdrop is a photo backdrop that I have been playing around trying to find a good place to use it, and I decided this was not the spot.

Next, is an area where the mainline to staging and the branch line separate. The mainline crosses a bridge over a river and enters a tunnel into staging. There is lots of grass, weeds and trees to add in this area. The water is Envirotex. It looks to smooth to me and I am going to try to form waves but I'm not sure how to yet.

You can go to my album to see some of the areas of my layout. There are some older photos that show the progress over the last three years. http://www.railimages.com/gallery/jeffkraker

Friday night I am having an operating secession. I have not had one in seven months. Hopefully I got all of the paint and glue off the rails and this will run good. I am going to try to take some pictures of the action that happens. I will put the photos in my album, I don't know if I will post them at Trainboard.
