    Hi friends
The last detail I would like to add to my ATSF 4-8-4 is cab curtains and I have all the drawings and photo's I need to do this but what I'm having trouble with it finding a material that looks like locomotive curtains. I have tried tissue paper but the finished curtains look like tissue paper, can anyone help?

You might try really light paper, like the packing paper found in most HO MDC-roundhouse kits....basically, a light, alsomt cigarette rolling paper. I think most cloths and knits will be too heavey for this application in this size.

As per above, my wife got an old pair of panyhose, cut a small square aout 3/8" and using fine thread cinched it in the middle and fluffed out the top and bottom. It worked pretty good. You can also dye it any color you want.
