In most of the boards that I browse, I never see many shots of stations or ticket office interiors. They are few and far between. Just a forgotten item or never that much interest?
A facet of railroading which is grossly overlooked. Interesting to me, almost any place and railroad. Part of reason I collect train orders. Take a look at the "TOUR" section of my web site- Link in my signature.

Thanks NY. If I am not mistaken, the photo is of Southampton Ticket office. I actually worked there a few times. I always remembered the telegraph key. In some stations, the old block phones were still in use up to around 2000. I can remember trying to explain to a new kid how to use it. You crank this, step on the foot pedal to talk..... The kid looked at me like I was crazy.

Long Island I don't have, ticket office interior I son't have, but if you will take ANY station interior, here is Fort Worth, Texas Santa Fe/ Amtrak station in 1994.
