    Greetings fellow N-ners:

I'm starting my layout over. It will be somewhat smaller but still a decent size. The "shocking" details on this change may be found in the Freelancers section of Trainboard.

If any of you have ideas, suggestions, please send them on.

I have a track plan that would work for that size of a layout, but the best way to get it from me is to supply me with a fax number. You can email me off line if you would like.

    Hi John-

Sure hope this works well for you. I hope that your wife isn't looking at these as being moved much. And they can be set up in one permanent place?

The new layout is engraved in stone. That is, the track scheme is uncertain but the location is. The layout will not be moved.

By the way, I'm now thinking of drawing a plan on the foamboard itself, full size rather than small size on paper. I ended up doing the track plan for the first layout the same way, after spending too many hours drawing and throwing away and drawing. . . . . .

Trackplans on paper are usually just a formality....
I usually modify the plan again & again...
    Good luck!
