Theyre only "clean" because they're brand-spanking new! New GEVOS in CSX's 700 series (the SD70's were moved to the 4600 series).
The first two images are straight out of the box with no weathering applied. Most of my N and HO engines are in this class. These photos also show the clean unweathered paint the "hardcore" model railroaders find unacceptable, and must heavily weather - after all, you never see engines like this operating on the prototype!!! :tb-tongue:
WWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!! that is nice the wheels are not rusted yet still because of the radial trucks they must be the ES44ACs that CSX was supposed to be getting notice the snowplow in the first one how it looks blue that means that it hasnt plowed snow or in alot of rain so they must be just out of Erie the same day you took them
