These were all taken last Saturday, 9-11-04, in New Haven Indiana, home of NKP 765. I was there for about 90 min and got the grand tour. One of my big questions was where is it going to run when it is finished? The response was regionals. Ohio Central is a good choice, but they have their eye on someplace much closer, the old Pennsy line from Fort Wayne to Chicago. Time will tell. Anyway, here are some of the pics, follow the link for more. I also found out how fast 765 can go, anyone want to guess? http://bob.msiunix.com/webpictures/trains/real/nkp/765/ Even though it looks like there is a lot of work to do, it will be done and running before the year is out. Once they found out that I had some steam experience, as well as machining skills, they put the pressure on for me to join up. I might head over and help out, but it's 2.5 hours one way, so I don't know.
Jasona, thanks for posting those. There have been a lot of questions asked on the net concerning her condition, and as they say, "A picture is worth 1000 words."
