Ok a suggestion that was given to me was to try out a soda pop bottle cap as an enclosure. The speaker fits nicely inside it. However any ideas on how to attach said speaker to the cap? I would prefer not to damage the speaker. [IMG][IMG]

Use BONDIC. Also allows for a nice air tight seal around the rim, and is also relatively easy to remove if a problem is found, later.

Never heard of that product. Is it available at electronics stores or specialty stores?

I get it from Amazon. Also available from Walmart.com. It is a UV cure plastic, which is great for adhering LEDs to the insides of shells or light pipes, as well as sealing speakers into enclosures.

I’ll take a look at it. Is it easy to use?

In the past, I've used electronics grade RTV silicone for semi permanent mounts.

Very. It dispenses as a liquid. I use a toothpick to draw it along the area I want to seal, then hit it with the UV light (included). Don’t make it too thick, but make sure you have a continuous bead.

walmart.ca doesn't even list anything by Bondic .... have to use walmart.com and try to ship it ..
silicone sealant is easier and cheaper, longer to cure, but ??
