Could someone point me to resource on the web showing where the reporting marks and road numbers are applied please? I'm currently painting and decaling a Precision Scale Brass caboose but have come to a dead stop with the decals.

The Espee Historical & Technical Society has published a book on SP cabooses that is THE reference for this subject. The book covers all phases that the various cabooses went through illustrates lettering as applied in each phase. With that book you will be able to model a specific caboose in a specific time frame.
