I have added some sound on the home page of my Andersley Western site. Please have a look/listen, and let me know how it sounds. I am particularly interested in how it works on dial-up connections, as it does not seem to work properly on Matt's computer.

    Thanks [IMG]

    The horn ( dh3.wav) sounds good 8=)

    The locomotive ( dhelper1.wav ) sounds more like a motorcycle 8=(

It just doesn't have that deep-throated rumble that a running
diesel loco sends straight to the bone

Thanks guys, at least I know it works [IMG] Only reason I did it was because I went to Paul Cassar's Railroad 2000 site, and he has a diesel horn :D His is a great site, if you have not had a look, I strongly suggest you do [IMG]

Don, I can assure you that it is the genuine sound of a helper locomotive (GE by the sound of it) :D

Alan, I am fortunate being at work. We have a T1 line here. Everything came through loud and clear!
